What do I do if my vessel does not start? 

• Make sure the vessel is in neutral
• Make sure the safety lanyard is fully seated on the 'kill switch' receptacle 
• If the above instructions are not working, call Young Harris Watersports for assistance (706) 777-1540
• If necessary, use the provided oar/paddle to keep the vessel off the shore line

What do I do if I hit another vessel? 

• If an accident has occurred on the water, ensure everyone's life jacket is fully secured
• Call 911 immediately, if someone is injured
• Call GA DNR to make a report
• Call Young Harris Watersports for further information and instructions (706) 777-1540 

What do I do if I hit an object in the water? 

• If there are any changes to the vessels' operation, call YHWS Staff, start heading back to the dock immediately, if possible call (706) 777-1540
• If the vessel in not operating, ensure everyone's life jacket is safely secured, then call YHWS at (706) 777-1540
• If necessary, use the provided oar/paddle to keep the vessel off the shoreline
